Euro-Latin American Network for the Professionalization of Academic Teaching
The Euro-Latin American Network for the Professionalization of Academic Teaching has been initiated by the ACT4SDG Project funded by the by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ program. The aim is to establish a collaborative platform dedicated to enhancing academic teaching quality in line with the Sustainable Development Goals. As a networking hub for educators, academics, students, and institutional stakeholders, this initiative aims to bridge Euro-Latin American regions, empowering them to share knowledge, strategies, and resources focused on infusing SDGs into curricula across higher education. More than 1,200 academic teachers are to be trained as change makers who will drive sustainable change at their institutions. The network partnership currently comprises 14 institutions from Mexico, Costa Rica, Argentina, Colombia, Germany, Greece and Cyprus. (Click here to learn more about the project partners).

Empowering Changemakers
Empowering over 1,200 academic teaching leaders as Changemakers, who will drive sustainable practices within their institutions and communities. These champions will pioneer the professionalization of academic teaching, equipping educators to implement SDGs across disciplines.
Promoting Knowledge Exchange
Fostering a vibrant culture of knowledge-sharing and interdisciplinary learning. The goal is to facilitate the exchange of resources, workshops, and forums that support the development of innovative and interdisciplinary teaching methods and help bridge the knowledge-action gap in SDG education.
Enhancing Skills and Capacity Building
With targeted training and capacity-building programs and tools, the Network enhances the pedagogical skills of academic staff, supporting the academic staff in addressing sustainability challenges and preparing students to act on the principles of the SDGs.
