13. University of San Andres

The University of San Andrés (UdeSA) is an academic community committed to the pursuit of truth and to making a relevant contribition to the progress of Argentina and the well-being of its people. 

Its goal is to provide excellent education to those with intellectual abilities and dedication to study, regardless of their economic resources. It offers 15 undergraduate programs, 30 postgraduate programs, and has more than 8,000 students. 

Nested within the School of Education at UdeSA, the UNESCO Chair in Education for Sustainability and Global Citizenship is the focal point for this project. It is a space with diverse lines of action aimed at strengthening the capacities of the educational sector to promote the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and steer the purpose of education towards the formation of integral citizens who are equipped to contribute in locally relevant ways to global challenges, building more just, resilient, and sustainable societies.
